Y! Mobile launches Yahoo! Maktoob in Arabic and English in 17 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates and Morocco.

Initially, consumers in the region will’ve access to the Arabic and English versions of the Maktoob homepage, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Search, and Maktoob News and then eventually localized versions of properties like Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Finance,” Yahoo said.
