A feature-packed update for Xbox One enabling you to get more out of your console arrives today as part of the May update to gamers around the world.
First up, a new option provides the ability to connect Discord account with Xbox account enabling you and your friends to see what your are playing and vice-a-versa.
For getting started, just open Discord app on PC or mobile and head over to Connections tab under User Settings, a new option to link Xbox and Discord account will appear. Now, click on Xbox Live option then sign-in to your account to enable permission to link accounts.
Next on Xbox One, open Account Settings menu, then select “Linked social accounts,” click on the option to link Discord account to receive a unique code. Then, open Discord app and insert the code within the Connections tab.

Another new feature introducing a new 120Hz video refresh rate support for 1080p and 1440p resolutions on Xbox One S and Xbox One X. So, gamers can take full advantage of smoother gaming experience with 120Hz supported monitors and lower latency as well as benefit from reduced tearing and stuttering via 120Hz output.
Microsoft is also making sharing even more quicker with a new feature ‘Trim Clips’ that let you trim recent game captures directly in the Guide,’ thus saving you time and hassles of switching to Upload Studio for a quick cut to saved clips.
Improvements to Family Settings enabling parents to easily find and manage all family setting on Xbox One from a new “Details” page, that will show all family and content settings that are configured, turned off, or require attention. However, settings, such as activity reports and Screen Time Limits, can only be accessed through the web.

There is also an update that refreshes button commands throughout the dashboard introducing new intuitive button commands, like “View” button on Home to edit the order of blocks or reorder items within Groups. “View” button on main tab of the Guide will now display additional capture options. And, to view all group collections in My Games & Apps, simply select a letter.
Improvements are also rolling out to Xbox Accessories App that make look and feel to be more consistent with rest of the Xbox One dashboard as well as easier navigation.
