Dubbed WipEout Pulse, the new title will deliver 24 new circuits of hover-racing action, all of which you’ll be able to enjoy backwards (as well as forwards). There will also be a new line-up of super-fast ships, as well as weaponry, and an array of new licensed music tracks. Mason, Loco Dice and Stanton Warriors are all set to feature.
The expected Ad hoc multiplayer mode will also be included, but we’re also pleased to report an Infrastructure offering will too, allowing us to take our PSPs online. Various racing teams will feature, and a new gameplay feature called Mag-Strip will see craft temporarily linked to the track for loops, drops and all sorts of cunning track designery.
If all this wasn’t enough, 7 modes will feature including a training option, as well as the ability to create your own MP3 soundtrack and even take snapshots of your finest in-game moments. Bring on September.
