Microsoft tweeted today about Windows’ 26th birthday and mentioned a special group video greeting card from the Skype team:
“Yesterday was the 26th anniversary of Windows being released and we received this special video card from @Skype!”
Back in November 20th of 1985, Microsoft introduced an operating system named Windows as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
