Microsoft uploaded three new videos on TechNet Edge demonstrating various Windows Server 2012 (formerly Windows Server “8”) features:
In the first video, Managing Hyper-V in PowerShell for Windows Server “8” Beta, Eric Bahna, Sr. Program Manager from the Windows Server team talk about managing Hyper-V environments using PowerShell in Windows Server “8” Beta.
He cover what’s new and improved upon on in this release, such as remote management capabilities, an increased amount of cmdlets and IntelliSense.
Second video, An Overview of Windows Server “8” – Server Core – Andrew Mason, Principal Group Program Manager and Program Manager Ben Herila show the latest features found in Windows Server “8” Beta – Server Core. They cover improvements made to service and manageability, role support and flexibility, and the various configuration levels.
In the WANs, LANs and RemoteFX in Windows Server “8” Beta video – Adam Carter talks about the latest features and improvements made in Windows Server “8” that will help enable a rich user experience everywhere – from Corporate LANs, on the Internet or WANs. Also, covered in the video is what’s new in RemoteFX, such as adaptive graphics and progressive rendering.
