Here’s a short video showing how the browsing experience on Windows phone 7 smartphone platform compares to iPhone and Android 2.2. Please note the device shown in the video isn’t final WinP7 hardware or software. The hardware isn’t meant to be released, and the software is still a work in progress. The browser of WP7 seems to be on the right track. Tab management is super quick (you can even load multiple tabs simultaneously), website load times are competitive with other top smartphone browsers, and panning/scrolling/zooming is ultra smooth. If we can get HTML5 and Flash support in WinP7 and maintain this level of refinement, IE on WP7 will rock.
