Microsoft closed the signing up new users for the Windows Intune beta; however, current beta participants can continue to use the Windows Intune beta and provide feedback until the next release. “So far, beta testers have told us they really see the benefits of a cloud solution that they can get up and running quickly from anywhere they’ve an Internet connection. They also told us that they expect Windows Intune will help them be more efficient because it includes multiple tools, including anti-malware protection, all in a single interface. We’ve also gotten lots of other great feedback on functionality that they would like to see in the future,” informs Microsoft.
Windows Intune is expected to be generally available in 2011.
