Windows 7 Starter edition’s (three app limit) need to be more flexible

Windows 7 Starter edition‘s built-in artificial “three app limit” let users run a maximum of three applications at any one time could be a pain for those looking for netbooks. If you bust that limit you get a warning, either in the form of a dialog box, or a balloon in the notification area of the system tray.


However, this is not entirely true, take a look at the following screenshot, and my fear is that unless this three app limit is flexible enough, people could end up being unable to run any apps because startup apps have grabbed all three slots.
