Windows 7 Effect Boosts PC Makers’ Customer Satisfaction Scores, Survey Report

Computerworld posted an article about the results of the annual satisfaction survey conducted by American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). In the article, Windows 7 is credited for boosting customer satisfaction scores for PC makers such as HP, Dell, and Acer.

According to the survey, “customers perceive the quality of PCs as better because they are easier to use – courtesy of Windows 7. Windows 7 contains many features designed to make a PC easier to use such as Jump Lists and taskbar pinning for pinning your favorite apps to your taskbar (or your favorite websites if you have the Internet Explorer 9 Beta installed!) as well as Aero Snap. It is great to hear that Windows 7 is contributing to customer satisfaction of the many wonderful PCs from our OEM partners!”

“The overall effect of Windows 7 has been positive, just as the overall effect of Vista was negative in 2007,” VanAmburg said.
