It has been asked and discussed many times before, but it never striked to write down, tll I came across this post of Alex — “There is always Many people are wondering why Gmail, a service launched in April 2004, is still in beta. The screenshots below are a good answer. Gmail still has problems with scalability and server errors are still frequent”.
Addtions to Alex’s above post: Gmail is still a good email services, but don’t know why, they have still retained the same old look and interface. And still, one cann’t create additional folders, to arrane emails, all you can do is create topics. There is no right click menu functionality, for each single operation, one has to click the drop-down menu. Whereas, even the newly introduced email services has all these and more additional funtionality’s. I think it’s the right time Gmail goes for make over and comes out of the Beta.
Final note: This post is not meant to criticise Gmail, but it has been written in an healthy atmosphere, as I and I think we all want to see Gamil much bigger and better.
