Have you ever wondered who’s linking to you? Using Yahoo! Site Explorer, you can view the links that Yahoo! Search engine is seeing point to your site: Not logged /no verified stes: “Go to Yahoo! Site Explorer and type URL. Click “inlinks button” for dissecting inlinks. Right to “Show Inlinks” you’ll see drop-downs showing current results are inlinks from all pages to exact URL you entered, and you’ll see pages that link to URL listed below it. Click drop-down “Only this URL,” and change to “Entire Site.” You’ll see that number of inlinks changes. To see who’s linking to site from other domains, click “From All Pages” drop-down next to Show Inlinks, and change to “Except from This Domain,” results will show only pages that aren’t from this domain. You’ll also notice there’s an Explore button next to each of results we’ve been seeing. Clicking button allows you to view Site Explorer data for that URL. If you’re logged into Yahoo!, you may see something different, so let’s look at extra options you get by being logged in and verified next,” writes Laura Lippay.
Logged in with verified sites: 1. Click Explore button next to site listing to see Site Explorer screens 2. Next to each URL, you’ll see two buttons: Details & Delete URL 3. Click Details to see more information of URL: number of links, page title, key terms, Delicious bookmarks /tags, and any SearchMonkey feeds related to this page 4. Now look left at Site Explorer menu. Your site listed with menu items listed underneath. If you don’t see those menu items, go back to My Sites dashboard and click on the URL of your site listed.
