Finally, Bigg Boss 3 (Season 3), TV reality show, has reached its final day, and in few hours, the winner will be announced. This year, the show was hosted by Bollywood Superstar and my favorite Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. The show had 14 participants, but right from the opening day, Vindu Dara Singh, Son of the Rustom-e-Hind, Veteran wrestler and actor Shri Dara Singh is my favorite. People known to me, says, I like him, because, we’ve some common qualities: “honest, straight-forward, caring, sensitive, emotional, works from heart”, but at the same time, we’ve some differences also; Vindu is of ‘forgive and forget’ nature. In BB3, he was constantly targetted by other contestants and was badly abused (extended to his family & parents) for being Dara Singhji’s son, for his carrer, for his physical appearence, for his crying. But as usual, the next moment, Vindu was seen talking to them, and advising for betterment in life. Where as, I’m not of “forgive and forget’, if somebody misbehave with me, he(she) is immediately entered into my ‘blacklist’, and the doors are closed forever for them.
Other than, Vindu, I once again, started liking Poonam Dhillon, but only for past four-five weeks, when she became friend to Vindu, and I wish Poonam and Vindu to be Best of Friends through out life.
My favorite moments of the show includes: “Talks between Amitji and Vindu, during all eviction episodes, Vindu’s ‘aakri salaam’ chat with Amitji, Vindu saying “Hum ne to dost kamai hain (I’ve made friends)”, the episode when, “Akshay Kumar, Chunky Pandey, Suniel Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy, Neha Dhupia, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi” entered into BB3 house and their bondness with Vindu.
Dara Singh ji, catches up on the antics of his son every night, and in an interview with Mid-day says:
He is both amused and horrified to see Vindoo become a weepy person on Bigg Boss 3. “I am shocked to see this side of him,” says the Rustom-e-Hind. “He has become extra sensitive in the house. Vindoo is an emotional man no doubt but he has gone beyond limits. Guess the situation has made him kuch zyada hi.” “When tears roll down his cheeks and Vindoo keeps wiping them away, I keep chuckling.”
About the housemates telling him to create his identity and not latch on to his father’s name, he says, “Vindoo has always been known as Vindoo Dara Singh. He prefers it this way. He has been telling the others, too, to write their names like that. Many people like to show others in bad light. Neecha dikhane me aur ilzaam lagane mein…some love to do this to others — to each his own.”
