Microsoft is readying new beta builds of Windows Server releases known as “Vail” and “Aurora” slated to be released next week at Worldwide Partner Conference.
“Vail is the next release of Windows Home Server. Aurora is a small business server based largely on the same code base as Vail. (There’s also a common framework, some kind of “client computer connector,” that extends across the two products, that is codenamed “Colorado.”)”
The company also planned “BPOS LIte” suite release for WPC 2010 – is a small-business-focused version of Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), a collection of Microsoft-hosted Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Communications Online and Live Meeting cloud services.
