Google’s YouTube team in a “January 26 blog post highlighted some of the most recent updates to YouTube:
New look for Browse
Browse page revceived a new fresh look-and-feel, that would help find Channels on YouTube. Alongside the “top lists like Most Viewed Today, you can now discover and subscribe to more YouTube Channels on browse pages, which’ll then regularly update on your homepage,” informed David Wang.
You can also discover more content under categories including Entertainment, People & Blogs, Science & Technology and more.
Video Editor with new features
Along side, YouTube homepage update, Video Editor also reveived a visual overhaul, as well as a new timeline, easier clip trimming and a moving playhead.
Video Manager with oldies and new goodies
Video Manager update along with a visual update, also includes: search history, and an improved display of scheduled uploads and claimed videos.
Also, the team has added back the likes and dislikes statistics as well as sorting videos by popularity features.
Also, this year with Sundance Film Institute, YouTube is premiering a collection of films.
Sundance Film Festival, the annual independent film extravaganza is underway in Park City, Utah. To mark the last weekend of the festival, YouTube will premiere Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie tomorrow, January 27 at the same time the shock humor duo showcase their world premiere at the 2012 festival.
