Yesterday, Twitter rolled out a new feature — one that many users have been requesting since the new Twitter was unveiled called the “full conversation threads”.
“When you click on a tweet with the chat bubble icon, you’ll see the detail of what that tweet was responding to in the right pane of New Twitter. Previously, you could only see one level deep into the conversation. But now, Twitter will show you an entire back and forth (assuming the users responded using the “reply” button each time).
And depending on where you hop in to the conversation, you’ll see all the “in reply to” message above, the tweet you clicked on in the middle, and the “replies” below in this pane.”
Bonus: Here’s how to set up to get all your @replies and mentions delivered to your mobile phone via text message:
Make sure you’ve added your phone to your Twitter account. Then just turn on “mentions and replies” notifications in your account’s mobile settings tab. Or, from your phone, you can text the phrase “set mentions on” to your local shortcode to activate these notifications. After that, you’ll receive a text message anytime someone mentions your username in a Tweet.
