Twitter launched an easy way that let people share longer videos live that brief the specific moment. The new feature called ‘Timestamps’ let you now tweet a exact time in the video directing people to the part they wanted to watch.
“We built Timestamps which lets anyone Tweet a live or replay video starting from the exact moment they want to discuss.” wrote Twitter.
To share Timestamps, just tap to share a live video, and slide back to the exact time that you want your audience to watch, then add your thoughts, and Tweet it. Once tweeted, people can watch at the time within the video you shared upon receiving your tweet.
Moreover, during live broadcasting, you can also quickly tap “live” at any time to skip to what’s happening feature. It’s available to any live video from a professional content publisher or from someone broadcasting from their phone.
This update is now available on Twitter for Android and iOS, Twitter.com and Periscope.
You can read more about how to share from Periscope here.
