Expit has released a new SCSM – Microsoft Project Connector, that enables the exchange of information between project planning software (Project server 2010) and System Center Service Manager.
“The connector allows project server users to convert project tasks into tickets in service manager directly from project server or project professional clients that are connected to project server.
Additionally, the connector also updates project tasks to reflect ticket status in service manager and mark tasks as complete once tickets are closed,” stated Expit.
The connector allows project managers to create change requests in Service Manager as part of the project. Later when the change request is completed in SCSM the task is marked as completed in Project.
