Random Redirect WordPress Plugin

I’ve just posted about StumbleUpon newly launched site specific stumbling service called StumbleThru, that lets you perform site-constrained “Stumbles” on 13 services, including user-generated content sites YouTube and Flickr.

Rafe Needleman’s posted — “but it leaves me wondering if StumbleUpon will release instructions or an API so people who run other sites will be able to put the function on their own sites. Presumably, if made available, the tool could feed popularity results back to the SumbleUpon service, and get destinations tailored to individual users.”

Within few hrs, a plugin from the WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg called “Random Redirect” was posted on WordPress plugin directory.

Random Redirect, allows you to create a link to yourblog.example.com/?random which will redirect someone to a random post on your blog, in a StumbleUpon-like fashion. You can download the plugin here.
