Project “Houston” and what’s new in Microsoft SQL Azure? TechEd 2010 Webcast

In this TechEd 2010 video, Patric McElroy demos some new and future SQL Azure capabilities. It’s worth watching the entire 80 minute video but if you only have 6 or 7 minutes then the piece you won’t want to miss is Project “Houston,” a new Silverlight based management tool for SQL Azure which my team has been working on for about a year. It targets developers who’re using SQL Azure as a backend repository for their web apps. It’ll be hosted on Azure which means as an end user you won’t have anything to install on your local machine. It starts at ~51:00.
