You may have noticed the little icons that often appear at the upper left of the slide thumbnails:
You might also have figured out that these icons appear when a slide has a transition or when one or more objects on the slide have animations attached to them . This is very useful information to get a glance, whether you are creating a new presentation from scratch (“Did I put a transition on slide 17?”), or you are given a finished PowerPoint file to use in an upcoming presentation (“Why does only slide 6 have a transition? I hope the speaker notes give me an answer.”).
