Pinterest has introduced a new ad format now allows businesses to show up to 5 different products or images in a single advertisement.
The new ad format called ‘Promoted Carousel’ lets businesses create an immersive ad experience by including up to five images on one ad unit to create an excitement around their products and services.
This new ad format can be an effective way to raise brand awareness and drive performance goals such as traffic and conversions.
Pinterest explains, “This format can present a product’s numerous features, drive additional purchases by showing multiple items in a Pin or increase awareness with a multi-image brand story.”
Each card in the slide within a Promoted Carousel can have a different
- Landing page
The carousel is displayed in pinners users’ feed just like any other pin.
Pinners can swipe through the carousel slides while in the feed. They can also tap on a card in the carousel to enlarge the image and see the landing page.

Promoted Carousel is now available to all business accounts on Pinterest in all of its ad markets.
