Parallels updates its mobile app to extend that capability to iPad — promising to let access Windows programs on iPads by connecting over a network to latest version of Parallels Desktop virtualization software on Macs. In addition to running Windows on iPad, the company says the app allow for networked printing from iPad and ability to view Flash-based sites, by using built-in capabilities of Microsoft OS. Parallels says the free iPad app will work only with new Parallels Desktop 6.
