OneNote 2010 will Sync to Windows Mobile and Windows Live Services (Cloud)

Microsoft OneNote 2010 is going to change from the formidable note-taking app that it’s today to something even better. Perhaps the most exciting features coming to OneNote’re the new ways you’ll be able to take your notes with you anywhere you go. Although OneNote 2007 already offers offline capabilities and sync, the new version’ll expand on that with mobile and web applications and a “sync to cloud” service. OneNote 2010’ll offer following:

  • Sync to Cloud (Windows Live): In addition to storage devices like USB drives and SharePoint, new version is going to sync to the Windows Live service (aka “the cloud”) so your notebooks’re available from any computer, any time.
  • With OneNote Web App, you’ll be able to access and edit your entire notebook from a browser.
  • OneNote Mobile: A more complete OneNote version for Windows Mobile phones’ll sync whole notebooks and’ll sync directly to the cloud.
