New products in Office 365 Enterprise K1 plan empower frontline workers to work more efficiently and effectively with Microsoft announcing updates to K1 plan on Monday.
designed to enable your frontline workers to do their best work with tools for schedule and task management, communications and community, training and onboarding, and identity and access management.
The new offerings announced now include “Microsoft StaffHub, OneDrive for Business with 2 GB of cloud storage, Skype for Business presence and instant messaging, Microsoft Teams, Office 365 Video, Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.”
The additional products, which are build upon the core value of K1 plan provide frontline workers with the ability “to view and swap shifts, take advantage of video-based employee training and onboarding, share best practices and participate in live, company-wide meetings,” office team writes.
The new capabilities will start rolling out to customers in the next few weeks.

Manage 30,000 projects – up from 5,000 – and access information faster in updated Project Online
Project Online, a Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) solution, that provides capabilities for planning, prioritizing and managing projects and project portfolio investments remotely on almost any device—until now only allowed upto 5,000 projects—starting on Monday, Microsoft announcing a sixfold increase from its previous capacity now support up to 30,000 projects.
The increase is aimed at providing ample space and flexibility without cumbersome workarounds. In addition other new updates to Project Online include the ability to create more project subsites (also called subsites or collaboration sites), option to disable aggregation to retrieve project data more quickly, and performance enhancements to OData, that decrease the transmission time for retrieving data from project reports.
Lastly, modify dates are also added to the following entities:
Microsoft Planner users can now assign multiple people to a task, and every user that is assigned the task will see it on their My Tasks page.
