Office 2010 RTM scheduled for June 2010 – Office 2010 Beta Language Pack Available

Microsoft is set to deliver next gen suite of Office applications in June 2010. Office 2010 will be released in six different flavors, including a free version that includes Microsoft Word and Excel, but comes with limited functionality and includes advertisements. The editions of Office 2010 as of beta will come in Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Standard, Professional and Professional Plus. The Office suite will be updated for Windows, including ribbon support for all products, and will also be launching Office 2010 for Mac OS X sometime in 2010. Microsoft has yet to offer any comment, be it to confirm or to deny. By taking into consideration a June 2010 GA deadline, Microsoft will’ve to wrap up code for Office 2010 months before official launch, which means that MSDN and TechNet subscribers will be able to run RTM bits earlier in first half of 2010. The RTM date for Office 2010 continues to be kept under a tight lid at this point in time. Meanwhile, Microsoft released the Office Language Interface Pack 2010 Beta, that allow early adopters to run the suite in their native language.
