Pinterest Promoted Video is one of the best formats for showing 150 million people how your ideas will work for them, now a style called “Explore” is added to Promoted Video to tell more compelling stories through episodic videos.
With the new auto-play version of Promoted Video, “your video jumps right into action as soon as a Pinner discovers it,” writes Pinterest, and “people gets a series of ideas from your brand.”
So how does this work? With this new auto-play experience, brands can create a playlist of videos that run alongside the primary video. So, when a Pinner watches your first video, the next starts playing automatically. These Promoted Video will then “appear in a new section Pinterest Explore, which everyday presents picks from top tastemakers, industry experts and Pinterest employees.”
“Pinterest’s Promoted Video helping clients provide prospective customers with an immersive experience that drives action. The multiple video showcase and autoplay features open up new ways to tell clients’ stories to the valuable Pinterest audience.”
The new format is currently in testing with a handful of businesses and agencies in the US and UK, with more to come, writes pinterest.
