Facebook launched a third pillar in the Blueprint family called “Blueprint Certification”, a global credentialing programme for digital advertising professionals.
Not only is Blueprint Certification “the most rigorous and reliable measure of Facebook advertising competency,” “it’s the only one officially recognised by Facebook,” company stated.
With it digital advertising professionals provides “the advertising industry with a better understanding of Facebook advertising to help maximise ROI and gives businesses a way to select and retain people with expertise in Facebook family of products and services,” added facebook.
As the most advanced-level programme, Facebook notes, with Blueprint Certification you can demonstrates your expertise across products and services, including advertising on Instagram and Messenger.
Blueprint is partnering with secondary education institutions to incorporate the e-learning coursework into their curricula, starting with the Miami Ad School.
Here’s how Blueprint Certification works:
Facebook Certified Planning Professional is awarded to those who are proficient in planning successful Facebook advertising campaigns.
Facebook Certified Buying Professional credential is awarded to digital advertising professionals who are proficient in creating and buying Facebook advertising for maximum campaign impact.
This will be available in the coming weeks.
“Once an individual has selected their certification path, they’ll have opportunity to take two secure, proctored exams: “Facebook Advertising Core Competencies” exam, and then the exam in their chosen speciality.
In most cases the exams can be taken with an online proctor in the convenience and privacy of one’s office or home, noted facebook.
After an individual passes the exams, will receive a Blueprint Certification badge, that can be shared on Facebook and other social media, embedded in a website or blog or included in an email signature or electronic CV.
All exams are initially available in English, with other languages rolling out as they become available.
Also, to maintain certification status and to demonstrate ongoing proficiency, individual must get recertification annually, because Facebook family of products and services continues to evolve.
Lastly, company notes, Facebook Blueprint currently has more than one million enrolments around the world.
