Nokia Lumia 800 currently scheduled to launch in the UK and other parts of Europe on November 16. The Finish company has released a video demonstrating how the Windows Phone was designed and constructed and how it worked with Microsoft on the product.
“We go behind the scenes at Nokia’s London design studio with Stefan Pannenbecker, VP of Industrial Design at Nokia, Chris Linnett, Head of Lumia UX design and Kate Freebairn, Creative Director for Lumia UX design to explore the story behind the creation of Nokia’s first Windows Phone,” reveals Nokia.
“One feature was choosing to create the shell of the Lumia 800 in a new plastic construction called RF Transparent. Another big effort was given to the antenna design. Nokia claims it wanted to give Lumia 800 owners solid wireless connections when using the phone features or using the device to surf the Internet.”
