New developer templates published on Thursday, extend Skype for Business as a platform for virtual healthcare. “These new Office 365 Virtual Health Templates through open source solution using Skype for Business SDKs help building virtual consult experiences,” writes Office team.
“Powered by Office 365 and Skype for Business Online, these SDKs support building web and mobile experiences that integrate presence, chat, audio and video with custom business experiences.”
The templates leverage Skype for Business video services and modern web development technologies helps developers to build their own portals and apps integrated with other healthcare applications like electronic health record (EHR) management systems and scheduling systems, team said.

Touch Bar support is now live for Office for Mac update version number 15.31, and you can get it by opening any Office for Mac 2016 app and going to Help -> Check for updates.
According to a Office blog post, “Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have updates available introducing new Touch Bar feature that Apple introduced int new MacBook Pro in October last.” With todays, upate, the Word now has a new “Word Focus Mode,” which hides the ribbon and puts the most relevant features on the Touch Bar, You can also use it to insert “comments, photos, or hyperlinks”.
In Excel, you’ll get quick access to “borders, cell colors, and recommended charts”, and if you type an equal sign, the Touch Bar will show your most recently used functions. As for PowerPoint, the new Touch Bar feature allow you “to easily manipulate graphic elements”, such as sliding your finger across to rotate an object.
