New LinkedIn Premium Feature Help Keep Tabs on Companies you Care About

To help professionals keep tabs on competitive and industry trends by providing them access to information like growth and hiring trends when looking at a company page, LinkedIn today expands its Premium Insights feature with a new addition called “peer benchmarking.”

Available to Premium Business, Sales Navigator, and Talent Solutions subscriptions, peer benchmarking lets you easily compare companies to industry peers to better understand their competitive standing and trends over time — all in one place.

The feature provides key insights on Company Pages, like: total employee count for comparing a company’s employee growth to that of its peers for a period ranging from over a six month, one year or two year.

Employee distribution and headcount growth by function help you see which functions are growing fastest across companies to better understand what stage of growth they’re in.

Total job openings in a company provide insight at companies’ growth plans by comparing to its peers across functions.

Also, access to other company insights, like new hires at the senior management level and notable alumni are available, along with go-to networking tools, like InMail and LinkedIn ProFinder, LinkedIn Salary, and LinkedIn Learning products, writes LinkedIn.

Peer benchmarking is rolling out now on desktop to applicable subscriptions, and coming soon to mobile.
