As we all know building a quality app require quite a commitment and plenty of time and the next challenge is to market it and drive traffic to the new title once it’s published in the Store.
To help developers market their title in better ways Microsoft on Friday introdcued a new web badge for all Microsoft Store products including apps and games.
The price includes sale pricing as well, so the badge on your website will automatically be updated with the price of your app.
While adding the badge make sure to use it has the unique Store id of the title — see the embed code below for 8 ZIP that shows the badge script with “class=” and inside the “mspb(” carries a unique store id of 8 Zip.
The new badge once added will render in a website or blog as shown in the example image above. A simple click on the “Get it Now” button will then take the user to the prodcut page on Microsoft Store for completing the actual purchase.
You can add multiple badges to any single page.
