Microsoft has announced following three new spring improvements to adCenter:
- Quality Score:
How do you measure up? adCenter’s new quality score feature will help you better understand how competitive your ads are in different keyword marketplaces. It shows how relevant your keywords are to search users’ queries, and how often you can expect to see your ads displayed for those searches. Quality scores in adCenter will be based on three performance measures: keyword relevance, landing page relevance, and landing page user experience.
These quality scores, which’re available in the keyword performance report, can be used to help determine how best to optimize your keywords, ads and landing pages.
- Budget Suggestions:
Everyone can use a helping hand when it comes to spending money properly. adCenter’s new budget suggestion feature helps advertisers instantly determine if they’re capturing their fair share of impressions and clicks. It’ll also help determine if campaigns are being paused prematurely before the end of a month due to a depleted budget, and offer budget suggestions (on the “Opportunities” tab) to help you get back on track.
- Budget Options:
Having options is always a good thing. Microsoft will soon launch a change to the Daily Budget option, which allows advertisers to simply specify a daily budget amount for specific campaigns (rather than both a daily and monthly maximum amount). adCenter will then multiply your daily budget amount by the number of days remaining in the month to calculate your monthly maximum spend.
