Microsoft Kinect Controlling Windows 7 – Proof-of-concept Video

While hackers quickly developing open-source drivers for Microsoft’s Kinect, it seems Microsoft has an official partner named Evoluce, the multi-touch gesture experts. The video below, shows how Kinect controls Windows 7 desktop and several multitouch apps. The software is based on the latest Evoluce Multitouch Input Management driver that offer many API’s like TUIO, Flash and Java. With multi-gesture control mode for Windows 7 a natural user interface is created that’ll change the way we’ll communicate with the PC and consumer electronics in every day life.

Multi-gesture and multi-user interaction unleashes exciting possibilities for a multitude of apps like gaming, consumer electronics, office, events, education, command and control, point of sale and medical systems.
