Microsoft June 2010 Security Bulletin addressing 34 vulnerabilities

Microsoft published an advance notification for June security bulletin release on June 8, and it “includes ten bulletins addressing 34 vulnerabilities: 6 bulletins affect Windows; of those, 2 carry a Critical severity rating and 4 are rated Important; 2 bulletins, both with a severity rating of Important, affect Microsoft Office; 1 bulletin, again with a severity rating of Important, affects both Windows and Office; 1 bulletin, with a severity rating of Critical, affects Internet Explorer.

We’ll also be acting on two Security Advisories this month: We’re closing Security Advisory 983438 (Vulnerability in SharePoint Could Allow Elevation of Privilege) with June bulletins. And we’re also addressing Security Advisory 980088 (Vulnerability in IE Could Allow Information Disclosure),” revealed MSRC.
