Matt Cutts: Lower PageRank, or Very Low PageRank, Sites Tend to Make Spelling and Garmmer Errors

Google’s Spam head, Matt Cutts tweeted a “weather report” of about the upcoming changes from Google’s Panda algorithm, according to Cutts tweet:

Weather report: expect some Panda-related flux in the next few weeks, but will have less impact than previous updates (~2%).

Also, during the day, Google Webmaster Help video made public revealed that it’s possible “spelling and grammar” can cause low PageRank to website/blogs, and/or web pages.

Cutts, responding to a question about whether spelling and grammar matter when Google evaluates site quality, said:

We noticed a while ago that, if you look at the PageRank of a page –; how reputable we think a particular page or site is — the ability to spell correlates relatively well with that. So, the reputable sites tend to spell better and the sites that are lower PageRank, or very low PageRank, tend not to spell as well.
