Mac OS X Snow Leopard Successfully Installed and Running on Intel’s Sandy Bridge CPUs

Intel introduced Sandy Bridge Core 11 processor family and intrepid Mac OS X hackers have already managed to install Apple’s Mac OS X Snow Leopard on the latest Intel hardware before it’s officially supported by Apple.

How to Install Mac OS X on Intel’s Sandy Bridge:

“Please note: Sandy Bridge CPUs and chipsets aren’t currently supported natively by Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Hence, please don’t view this as buying advice. We’re providing this as a service for early Sandy Bridge adopters- and don’t recommend using a patched kernel for the long-term. The vanilla kernel is a much more desirable solution for a stable system,” stated the team.
