Mac OS X 10.6.7 Lands with 2011 MacBook Pro Fixes and More!

Apple Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.7 with fixes for the early 2011 MacBook Pro models, an improved Back to my Mac is now released and avilable for download.

Mac OS X 10.6.7 focus on some key areas of their operating system that enhance the stability, compatibility, performance, and security of your Mac, features including:

  • resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers

  • No word on if v10.6.7 patches the Mac App Store vulnerability that allows anyone to download and play games on their computer. The simple exploit became widespread just hours after Apple released v10.6.6.

    The Mac App Store follows the highly successful App Store on the iOS platform, which allows mobile users to download and use apps and games on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The Mac App Store launched for the Mac OS X platform in January, which now gives desktop users the ability to play games and quickly find applications.
