Finding a good time to start with conversation with the people in your network can sometimes be a bit tricky, now make this easier, LinkedIn begin to show you who in your network is online and available on its platform.
With this launch, the next time when you look at someone, a green status dot next to their profile photo will appear—indicating the person is currently online. While, the green status dot with a white circle in the middle, means that the connection is available “only on mobile” and will be notified of your message.
Of course, you can also set up how your status is displayed and who can and can’t see when you’re available, by simply going to settings to manage.
In addition, it’s also now possible to start an instant coversation from anywhere on the platform, when a connection is available.
LinkedIn says, they’ll also now surface people you know when you’re looking at a job listing or company page.
If you’re a Premium member, the company just made it a whole lot easier to access all Premium subscription features all-in-one place through the new “My Premium” hub.
To access this one stop hub, simply go to “Access My Premium” under the “Me” tab. Once there, you can also click on “Explore Premium” to discover more about what Premium has to offer.
The company is also providing tips on how to customize your LinkedIn Feed for maximum productivity and enjoyment says, it’s important to choose your follows wisely.
- When you value a connection but not their social activity, you can choose to unfollow them while keeping them in your network.
- And, second, LinkedIn has made it easy to hide posts that you don’t find helpful or interesting.
