Apple iOS 4.3.1 is now available via the “update” button in iTunes. The update applies iPhones 4 and 3GS, iPads 1 and 2, and generation 3 and 4 of iPod Touch.
4.3.1 isn’t a feature update, but addresses some minor bugs, performance tweaks, and with claimed battery improvements as well, including:
- Fixes an occasional graphics glitch on iPod touch (4th generation)
- Resolves bugs related to activating and connecting to some cellular networks
- Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV Adapter with some TVs
- Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services
The update isn’t available for Verizon iPhone users who are still on 4.2.6, but it works with all other recent devices including the iPad 2.
