Internet Explorer 11 Preview included with the Windows 8.1 Preview offers better touch performance, faster page load times, a continuous browsing experience across your Windows devices, and completely rebuilt F12 developer tools.

The IE11, a touch-centric update, including side-by-side browsing as shown in the picture b elow, offer 100 tabs per window, Live Tiles on the Windows 8.1 Start Screen that display data from websites, and the ability to watch your favorite movies and TV shows using HTML5 without installing extra plugins.
“IE11 now allows up to 100 tabs per window, with each tab being suspended when not in use to preserve resources and battery life. IE11 also has an option to always show the tabs and address bar for faster access.”
The touch optimized interface of IE11 allows for better navigation, easier access to favorites, and the browser even supports the latest standards and frameworks actively used by Web developers.
Microsoft is also planning to bring the IE11 browser on Windows 7, as the company has confirmed during the BUILD developer conference that IE11 on Windows 7 is one of the projects it is working on right now.
