Instagram has announced a number of new features designed to help people engage with and form more stronger connections with the follower on its social platform.
These new features are now available to use with Stories and on Live.
Users are now allowed to use interactive “questions sticker” for music recommendations in Instagram Stories.
Countdown Moments in Stories
In addition to questions sticker, users also now have a new feature at their disposal that allows them to use new “interactive sticker” in Instagram Stories.
The feature will let users countdown an event, like any upcoming personal moment.
Users can start by adding a countdown sticker to their Instagram Stories, once created the countdown sticker will be available to reuse in new stories until the countdown ends.

To get started with adding a countdown sticker to stories, after taking a photo or video a user would need to select a countdown from the sticker tray, name it, and add an end date or time, customize color before sharing it to stories.
Once shared, the followers will then be able to follow or share it with their own story. Anyone who follows or shares the countdown will be notified when it reaches ends.

Questions in Instagram Stories and Live
Question sticker can now be used in stories and live videos allowing users to question and receive an answer from their followers.
Now a music icon will appear when question stickers are used to which the followers can respond with a song from the music library.
Tapping on the viewer’s list will show all responses, another tap on the play button will play the song.
Once the song begins, users can take a photo or a video or see new effects in the camera that responds to the beats. Just do a swipe on “Music” in the camera will show the new icons above the camera capture button.

In addition, Question stickers can now be used during Live videos to ask a question and have it answered in real-time.
Simply navigate to someone’s story and respond to a questions sticker or go to “Live” to see all “Q&A” in own stories tray.

By joining live video a user will be able to see the question currently being answered. To get a question live, just go back to their story and the question asked will appear to live their questions list.
With Live, the user can also use their camera roll to share videos or photos to live video.
Questions in Live and Music is being made available to the latest version of the Instagram app on iOS and Android starting today.
The capability to share live videos and photos is now available to broadcasters on iOS and viewers on both iOS and Android.
