Foursquare Lists are great for getting and sharing curated recommendations, but you can also use them to make a personal checklist for yourself, like the stores you want to hit up.
“You can easily add photos or tips to the items on your list as you visit them, or re-arrange the order of the places. Get your friends to help you by clicking ‘Let friends add places, too’ on the right hand side when you’re in the editing mode.
You’ll get reminders about items on your lists when you’re nearby, or when you’re looking for recommendations in the area using ‘Explore’. Mark them as ‘Done’ to track your progress!

Here is how to make a foursquare List:
- Go to foursquare.com/lists, and click ‘Create a List’ on the right hand side. Give it a name!
- Start typing the names of places you want to add, and foursquare will find them for you.
- You can also add to your list from any place page. Just click the ‘+SAVE’ button on the top right when you find a place you want to visit, and choose which list you want to put it on.
- That’s it!
