Google is now helping people to plan their travel with better pricing information on flights and hotels with new travel search features that will make travel planning easier.
With today’s update, the travel insights tool can now help to see price trends for flights on some popular routes, or can be used to find cities which have great hotel deals.
Additionally, top-trending destinations in the U.S. to plan travel easily.
Here are the highlights of the new features in Google Flights and Hotels:
Find Flights Based on Budget
Google will now help in finding destinations for a fixed budget. Users can explore Google Flights’ world map to view all the places as per their travel budget.
By using a price filter, users can find the places within the budget range they set. This feature can only be used on the desktop.

Price Insights for Flight Searches
When looking for flights, a new price insight available for most trips now shows whether the prices offered are high, typical or low.
The new price insights will also inform whether the current price would go down or expected to be increasing soon.
Previously, this feature was only shown when searching for flights for holiday dates.

Find Hotels by Best Deals
While searching for hotels, user can now use Google’s new “deals” filter that highlights hotels where rates are significantly lower than usual.
The filter uses Google’s machine learning (ML).
Google search results also now show expanded pages with photos and reviews for that hotel curated with machine learning.

User can also now search hotels near a specific landmark of their interest, for example “hotels near Disney World” on Google Maps
The search results will populate with information like hotel options, their rates, and the walking and driving distances.
