Google seems to be testing an ad test in the recruitment vertical.
“The AdWords display for jobs ads that includes an automatically-generated extra line of description that includes the number of jobs available and reiterates the brand of the advertiser. To make room for this third line, the two description lines are combined.”
Presumably the number of jobs comes from Google Base uploads by the sites advertising, as it appears to be dynamically generated by Google.
James Carswell of Periscopix, who spotted this test feature notes that the sites showcased in the test are all using the Madgex job board software.
“In fact, this is displaying the full ad description plus an extra description line which hasn’t been taken from the AdWords campaign. The format of the extra line is the same for each ad, suggesting that it’s dynamically generated and added by Google. The two key pieces of information are the number of jobs available and then a reinforcement of the brand, in this case big UK names such as NMA, Revolution Jobs and Design Week,” Carswell added.
