Google have simplified the pricing for “Google Site Search,” a hosted search offering for businesses and organizations that want Google-quality search on their sites without ads.
“To date, we’ve charged for GSS based on both the number of submitted search queries and the number of pages indexed. Now our new pricing system factors only the quantity of submitted queries your Site Search engine receives each year. It’s much simpler and scales to accommodate the size of your business. The vast majority of our users will be unaffected and many will even begin paying less when the new prices take effect upon their annual renewal, explains Google.”
Please note: This pricing change applies to all new subscriptions and renewals as of Nov’12, 2010.
Also, now doubled the on-demand indexing quota for all subscription plans, so new web pages added to your site will be quickly indexed and made searchable.
