Google show “popular links” in real-time search results

Google tweaked its real-time search tools including: Twitter, Friendfeed and public Facebook status updates. “Now when you Google for any popular keyword and refine your search results to either “recent” or “updates,” the search engine will show a list of web pages frequently linked from messages posted on services like Twitter, Google Buzz, FriendFeed etc. Here’s an example (see pic). A status update search for Tiger Woods pulls up recent tweets on left and “top links” on right side. If you click any “all mentions” link this pulls up related status updates pointing to that particular URL. This can be invoked for any URL with a simple “link:” command,” revealed Steve.
