A new feature called Quick View in Google search for mobile allows users to load search results almost instantly. Now, you’ll now see a blue “Quick view” badge next to a few search results.
“Quick view is an experimental project and is currently enabled for pages from Wikipedia when you search in English on Google.com. We are working to expand this to additional websites,” informs Google.
Adding, “Say you’re new to poker or need a quick refresh on hands — just search for “poker hands”, and you can now click the blue badge and see a quick view of the Wikipedia page listing out the poker hands immediately,” Google explains.
There’s a form for getting updates “about participating in the mobile quick view field trial”. Apparently, Quick View loads pages in less than 100 milliseconds.
In addition, Google also adds a new “expandable quick sitlelinks” for some sites to get you o the specific setions faster. “You’ll see these expandable sitelinks appear for many sites to help you get to a specific section quickly,” Google write.
“Now, there’s a faster way to get to the Rotten Tomatoes page with just the info you need most — look for the quick sitelinks dubbed “In Theaters” underneath the main Rotten Tomatoes link when you search on your mobile phone,” Google adds.
