Google has announced that it has launched a new Agency Account Migration Tool for Google My Business.
The tool is now accessible to a “limited” number of organizational accounts only. And, it aims to help “improve the process of transferring listings to organization accounts,” says Allyson Wright, a Community Manager for Google My Business.
“We wanted to give you a quick heads up that we’re launching a new tool to improve the process of transferring listings to organization accounts,” wrote Wright.
Google My Business (GMB) agency accounts, as a way to manage multiple Google local listings in one place through the agency dashboard, was. launched in June this year.
However, agencies who deal with 100 plus accounts had a concern about how to get all the listings from dozens of separate accounts into one. Because migrating all those listings to an agency account is a repetitive and time-consuming process.
With this migration tool, Google aims to simplify the process of migrating multiple business listings to an agency account.
The migration tool is accessible by login into Google My Business account and heading over the overview tab of the agency dashboard, then scroll a bit towards the bottom.

Once there, clicking on the “Get Started” button allows to login into another GMB account for transferring all the locations from the account to agency account.
The agency account migration tool will more broadly available, “soon,” says Google.
