With Christmas approaching faster, Google has announced some new updates to help people track Santa this year on Google Maps.
“It’s the 15th year of Santa’s Village, an interactive holiday hub where you can play games to learn coding skills, create original artwork, exercise your geographic chops, and more,” wrote Google.
Better Way to Follow Santa 📍
This year as soon as Santa takes off from the North Pole and leading up to the Christmas, Google Maps will show his current location as he travels as and moves.
All you need to do just open Google Maps app and head over to the Santa Tracker dashboard on December 24.

In addition to Santa tracker on Maps, Google also has launched a couple of games highlighted below:
The new Elf Maker game let users stylin’ an elf from head to toe for all of the holiday shindigs.
Users can customize elf using selected outfit, hairstyle, facial hair and accessories.
Google will also now show holiday photos from Local Guides, and also has launched a new festive quiz which is powered by Google Earth and Street View to let people test their knowledge around holiday traditions.
The new Translations game will help the user learn to greet and say “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy New Year” in other languages.

Not only Maps, but Google Assistant can also be used this holiday to track or hear a story about Santa. Starting December 23, people can simply ask, “Hey Google, where’s Santa?”.
