Google Earth 1.1 for Android, let you discover the marine world. For e.g., check out landscape and terrain in Monterery Bay Canyon, which’s larger than Grand Canyon, by zooming in on Earth below the ocean surface just off the coast. Once underwater, you can use “look around” to tilt the view and see extent of this great undersea canyon.
It also introduces “Explore the Ocean” layer, which features hundreds of photos and videos. Plan or get a sneak peek of your next vacation during your daily commute by clicking on any of little blue icons. The gold highlighted icons represent content from& Mission Blue Hope Spot initiative.
For Android 2.2, Earth now supports “Flash in balloons,” for you to see videos right in balloon if flash installed. Also, you can now use two fingers to “look around” and change your viewpoint, as an alternate to using on-screen button, making it easier to tilt your view to see mountainous landscapes or underwater canyons.
